Refunds, cancellations and transfers
Refund policy
This policy explains when a Biz Growth Hub programme payment can be refunded, how to cancel an enrollment, and how to request help when a paid service has not been delivered.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to Journey to ₦3 Million and other paid Biz Growth Hub programmes unless a different policy is clearly shown before payment. It applies to programme fees. It does not apply to seed-funding awards, grants, or other money that may be offered separately.
Nothing in this policy removes any right or remedy available under applicable Nigerian law.
2. When you can receive a full refund
You can request a full refund when any of the following applies:
- Your request reaches us before the first live class begins.
- You were charged more than once for the same enrollment.
- Your payment was confirmed but Biz Growth Hub did not provide your programme account and enrollment access within 72 hours after the programme began.
- Biz Growth Hub cancels the programme and does not provide a suitable remedy.
- We cannot provide a material part of the paid service and a replacement, reschedule, or proportionate remedy is not suitable.
Please tell us promptly when access is missing so that we have a reasonable opportunity to correct the problem.
3. Refunds after the programme starts
Once the first live class has begun, a refund is generally not available because you changed your mind, missed a class, had a schedule conflict, could not use your device or internet connection, or did not use the programme resources.
This limit does not apply to duplicate payments, Biz Growth Hub service failure, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may also review a serious and documented exceptional circumstance individually. An individual review does not guarantee a refund.
4. Cancellations and enrollment transfers
To cancel before the programme starts, send your request before the first live class begins. If a refund is approved, your enrollment and programme access will be cancelled.
Transfers to another person or a future cohort are not automatic. Contact support before the first live class if you want to request a transfer. A transfer is valid only after Biz Growth Hub confirms it in writing.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the subject “Refund request”. Include:
- Your full name.
- The email address used for enrollment.
- Your payment reference or receipt number.
- The programme name and cohort.
- The reason for your request and any relevant supporting information.
Do not email card details, bank login details, passwords, one-time passwords, or recovery codes. We do not need them to review a refund request.
6. Review and payment timeline
- We aim to acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- We aim to communicate a decision within 5 business days.
- We initiate an approved refund within 10 business days of approval.
Refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time after we initiate the refund. We will tell you if more information or a different lawful payment route is required.
7. What happens after a full refund
A full refund ends the related enrollment. We will remove programme and community access and you will no longer be eligible for benefits connected to that enrollment, including any seed-funding selection process. We may retain payment, refund, and enrollment records where required for accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
8. Payment disputes
Contact us first when possible so that we can investigate and try to resolve the issue quickly. This request does not restrict your right to contact your payment provider, bank, or an appropriate regulator.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for future purchases. The version shown or accepted when you paid will normally govern that enrollment. We will not use a later update to remove a right that already applied to your purchase.
10. Questions and complaints
For questions or complaints about this policy, email [email protected]. If we cannot resolve a valid consumer complaint, you may use the complaint process provided by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
